Unaware of the panic and confusion going on just two towns over, Parker Carlson, a small town beat cop, just left for his solo hike along the AT. He needs a couple of days to clear his head after a bad breakup and an insane workload. But peace and quiet aren’t in the cards for he just stumbled across River Owen’s dead body and the scattered clues around her campsite that point to murder. And the killer intends on making Parker the next victim.
