Day Camps for the 2026-27 School Year
Participants will have a blast at our drop-off Day Camps! Each day will be filled with animal encounters, guided hikes, science experiments, nature crafts, and so much more. Strawberry Hill’s drop-off Day Camps are a great option for working families who are looking for fun activities for their kids while school is out. For ages 5-9. Each camp day runs from 9am-3pm* and includes snack time.
Participants will provide their own lunch. $55/child with 10% multi-day discount. To register, click here.
A minimum of 5 participants is required to hold each Day Camp days. If the minimum number of participants for each day is not met, Strawberry Hill reserves the right to cancel that day’s program. Parents will be notified no less than two weeks ahead of time. *December 21st Solstice Celebration is from 10am-2pm.

Travel back millions of years to discover how birds, turtles, and ancient plants connect us to the age of dinosaurs! Join us for a dino-tastic day of digging for fossils, meeting descendants of dinosaurs, and learning how adaptations can help species survive and thrive!

Adventure starts at home! The Pennsylvania forests are home to a number of exciting species including black bear, brook trout, and bobcats! Join us as we explore streams, meadows, wetlands, and learn about wildlife through exciting hikes, games, and hands-on exploration.

Bundle up and head outdoors for a day of winter exploration, adventure, and discovery. Campers will become winter wildlife detectives, forest explorers, and snow scientists as they discover how plants, animals, and people survive—and thrive—in the cold.
We'll investigate animal homes, experiment with snow and ice, learn winter survival skills, play frosty outdoor games, explore frozen habitats, and discover the amazing adaptations that help Pennsylvania wildlife make it through winter.

What does the solstice mean for the forest? Join us for a day of wintery fun as we discover how the frosty days help the forest rest before the spring. Participants will hike, play winter games, and warm up by the campfire with s’mores and hot cocoa. We’ll also make bird treats and tree decorations as we explore the history and science behind the solstice.
Please note this day camp is from 10am-2pm and is shorter than other day camp days.

Can you unlock nature’s secrets before it’s too late? Join us for a day of mystery and intrigue as campers encounter question after question: Who left these tracks? Who chewed this leaf? Why did this tree fall? We’ll will become detectives, solving mysteries using clues hidden throughout the forest.

From catching crayfish to testing streams, Water Warriors become real freshwater scientists while exploring Pennsylvania's waterways. We’ll search for signs of spring in our waterways and discover different ways we can protect our most valuable resource – water!

Animals are incredible engineers! They build nests where little else can survive, design dams that change entire communities, and spin silk that rivals steel for strength! During this fun STEM day, campers will solve environmental challenges using creativity and engineering while learning how wildlife shapes entire ecosystems.

Creeks are incredible. Join us for a day of discovery as we dive into the world of creek critters! Campers investigate streams, catch aquatic insects, test water quality, build miniature watersheds, and learn why clean water matters for wildlife and people alike.

Treasure seekers unite! Pirates have travelled up and down Middle Creek and left clues that point towards something spectacular – pirate treasure. Don your best pirate hat and join us for a swashbuckling day of decoding maps, compass navigation, building boats, and enjoying a stream-side treasure hunt like no other!

Mission: Explore, discover, protect. This active day academy will focus on the most important aspects of being a junior Forest Ranger – teamwork, environmental stewardship, survival skills, and leadership. We’ll complete outdoor challenges, learn tracking and navigation, and explore Pennsylvania’s amazing woodlands through hands-on adventures.
Important note: This program uses fun military-style themes (missions, recruits, strength training, and challenges) while emphasizing teamwork, leadership, environmental stewardship, and positive encouragement—not combat. Due to the activity level of this camp it is for ages 8+
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 2 weeks in advance of program date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 7-13 days prior to a program will receive a 50% refund. No-shows and cancellations for any reason made within 3 days of a program will not receive a refund.
Programs are held rain or shine, sleet or snow. It is not likely Strawberry Hill will cancel a program due to weather conditions, but if we deem conditions hazardous, we will make our best attempt to cancel within 24 hours and begin processing refunds as soon as possible.
