May Guided Hike
Join Strawberry Hill this Mother’s Day as we celebrate the mothers that live in the forest.
Just like humans, mothers in the wild each have their own distinct style when it comes to parenting. From intensive, to indulgent, to completely hands (or wings!) off, learn about the different strategies our native species use when raising and protecting their young as we enjoy a short hike on the Nature Trail. All ages welcomed.
Program fee: Free, registration required by calling 717-642-5840.
Maple Sugaring Hike
Take a walk in the woods to see how trees are tapped in the sugarbush at Strawberry Hill. Naturalists will teach hikers about tree tapping history, and how to identify maples in winter.
RSVP to Info@strawberryhill.org
Tree ID Hike
Join Strawberry Hill naturalist, Alexa, as she guides you through the woods to learn about basic tree identification in the winter.
