Bears!
Bears are one of the most fascinating species in our area but by the early 1900s they came close to being extirpated from our state. Today, they’re regularly spotted on trails and in backyards alike. What makes these incredible creatures so adaptable and unique? How are the different species of North American bears differ, or are they more similar than we think? Join us for a day of fun and learning as we dive in to the misunderstood world of bears!
Each day will have two sessions - a morning session from 9:30am-12pm and an afternoon session from 1-3:30pm. Families can sign up for morning session, afternoon session, or both! Please note this is not a drop-off program and caregivers must remain on campus with their teens.
*Younger siblings are welcome but please keep in mind that the day's activities are geared toward teens ages 13 and up.
