Oak Pathogens Workshop

This workshop will discuss diseases that attack oak trees, including bacterial leaf scorch, bacterial wetwood, and oak wilt. Participants will learn about signs of various bacterial and fungal infections in oak trees, how to respond to infected trees, and regional resources that can assist with tree health. This workshop is intended for woodland owners, homeowners, and anyone who is concerned about oak health.

About the presenter:

Angeline Binick volunteers as a Pennsylvania Forest Steward with the James C. Finley Center for Private Forests at Penn State. She also volunteers as a Master Gardener with the Adams County office of the Penn State Extension, and as head of the invasive plant removal crew for Friends of Codorus State Park.
