Mid- Summer Black Lighting for Nocturnal Insects
Saturday, June 19 2010, 9:00pm - 10:30pm

Join Kevin Hall, as he sets up black lights to attract some nocturnal insects. There should be a number of interesting critters that will fly in from the surrounding area. We will also mix up some sugar, beer, and molasses for fermentation and then paint it on a few trees for a technique known as Sugaring. This kind of concoction will bring in certain moths (under wings especially). With any luck we should have some giant silk moths including the yellow and purple Imperial Moth. Members $5, Non-members $8
