Assembling Backyard Rain Barrels & Birdhouses

Two DIY events, register seperately for each!

Assembling Backyard Rain Barrels

Join Adam McClain of Adams County Conservation District  for a hands-on demonstration of how to build your own rain barrel and learn about the benefits of utilizing rain water.  Register by August 1st if you’d like to make a rain barrel to take home.  Supplies are limited.  Be sure to RSVP in advance.

$5.00/members; $8.00/non-members. Orders for complete rain barrels, with an additional fee, will be taken that day.

Building Backyard Birdhouses

Assembling and installing a backyard birdhouse is a great way to attract wildlife to your backyard.  We’ll work
together to build houses for Eastern Bluebirds, which can be hung on fencepost and provide housing for these native birds.  Supplies are limited  Be sure to RSVP in advance.

$5.00/members; $8.00/non-members; additional $8.00 material fee if you keep the birdhouse. No material fee to install the birdhouse at Strawberry Hill.
