They're back & more exciting than ever.  After an absence of a few years, the Woodcocks returned to the Strawberry Hill area last year and put on quite a show.

The courtship ritual of this amazing bird is one of the highlights of early spring in our region.  We'll venture onto nearby Michaux State Forest to witness the spectacle.
