2010 Junior Naturalist Camps

It’s that time of year again. Strawberry Hill is planning another fun-filled summer of activities for children.
Our camp is unique in its focus on the natural world. While the camp still includes games, crafts and other fun activities, the main objective is to help children increase their understanding of the local natural environment. If your child loves animals and plants, enjoys experiencing outdoor adventures and is ready to be thrilled by all the wonders of the natural world, then Strawberry Hill is the place to be! Some featured activities will include:
-
Singing nature songs
-
Wading through pristine mountain streams
-
Gathering animal specimens both in the pond and on land
-
Watching animals on "Bug TV", a microprojector connected to a television
-
Live animal presentations
